They say two garlic’s cancel each other out, but does that count when it’s just you eating the two? Apparently not, but I still love garlic.
I ate a late lunch (or “linner”) today featuring a garlic, basil and sun-dried tomato chicken sausage from Whole Foods and some spinach. I may or may not have forgotten that the sausage already had garlic in it, so I added a very plump clove of garlic to my frozen spinach and popped it in the steamer. I cooked the sausage in a grill pan for about 15 minutes and it was literally oozing flavor as I plated it:
I still have the taste of garlic in my mouth (any suggestions for getting rid of it?), but this was a very satisfying late lunch. Off to write a paper!
