Like watching “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” or eating dessert.
OK, the average person probably can avoid watching Oprah, but doesn’t everyone love dessert? I made a point of not watching Oprah today in an effort to focus on work, but play-by-play text messages sent by my mom persuaded me to do otherwise (Martha Stewart was making blueberry pie. I love pie).
After my Oprah indulgence, I decided to sweeten the day further by biting into one of these Maple Cinnamon mini bundt cakes from Whole Foods:
I’ve had these before with strawberry frosting and was thrilled to see them in Maple Cinnamon and Gingerbread Cinnamon, just in time for fall! I’m also falling (ha!) for butternut squash and pumpkin smoothies like the ones featured here, here and here. If you haven’t tried out a pumpkin smoothie yet, get yourself some canned pumpkin, almond milk (or milk of choice), almond butter (or nut butter of choice, but this goes really well with pumpkin), a frozen banana and cinnamon and give it a whirl!
